Our Raised at Full Draw (RAFD) Bowhunting camps are designed to teach youth 12-17 years old the skills of hunting, while having the opportunity to try things hands-on in a positive learning environment. . The goal of our camps is to pass knowledge and techniques to those who have never shot a bow to those who have been hunting before. Participants can earn their Bowhunter Education Certification. Most of our camps are four days, three nights, tent camping. However we have started to include day camps within populated locations.
R.I.S.E is a division within Raised At Full Draw, our youth camp. R.IS.E. is a retreat for women designed to teach the skills of bowhunting, personal growth and confidence building skills that will carry into everyday life.
This three-day program is designed to give you some experiences that you may never have had before, or believed that you could do. Raised At Full Draw is designed for participants who have never shot a bow before or never been hunting. You will build confidence by learning how to properly shoot a bow and arrow, hike to a destination at night, learn how to set up a ground blind so you can go out hunting with your family or by yourself.
We are currently waiting to see if the facility will let us host our 2024 Family and Young Adult Camp. Stay Turned. If interested in this camp please email us at info@raisedatfulldraw.com
We offer a handful of 3D tournaments to help promote our camps. Some of our tournaments are indoor such as the Iowa Deer Classic and some may be outdoor such as DeerFest.
